Biggest Loser!

Don't know if any of ya'll watch biggest loser, but i am obssessed with it!

My only complaint is Conda

i can't stand her she is such a spoiled, conniving, manipulative, bully of person i really really really want her to get kicked off the show..she makes me not want to watch it this season.  There's no motivation, no inspiration, no unity at all not a big fan of it this season.  such a disappointment. Wah wah wah

skin update!

This medicine is amazing!!!  i've been on if for 1wk and my skin has completely cleared up well with the exception of 1 or 2 pimples but clear for the most part.  Lots of flaking and peeling but i can handle that :) pictures will be posted at the end of this journey!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Today i would like to wish my grandmother a very happy birthday! she is one person in my life that has always been there and has never let me down.  When i was sad, scared, or worried and everyone would laugh or tell me to get over it she was there to comfort me, pray for me, pray with me and tell me that God would take care of everything.  Through late nights, early mornings, unscheduled practices, car trouble, money trouble, whatever it was she has always been there for me without hesitation.  I love you grandma and pray that you have many more with us beacuse my life without you would fall apart.  Te Amo Bastante!

Day 3 my experience so far!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! my face is on fire with all these medications but i am noticing a big difference in my skin! so fingers crossed that this works!

Dermatology!

My skin is still freaking out! This natural face wash thing i think made it more irritated... i called Dermatology and got an appointment FINALLY!

so they gave me:
Duac for the Morning

Doxycyline 2x a day

and Retin A for the evening

I hope this helps my face!

The Grammys..epic fail!

so yesterday i went through my DVR and recorded everything that said "Grammys" well at least i thought i did.....came home this morning excited to watch it and nope it wasn't recorded wah wah wah! gues i have to catch it on a re run...super bummed!

The Forgotten

Its funny how when an entertainer dies thats all the world can talk about. Even shows are changed to pay tribute. But when a member of the armed forces dies we don't hear about it, there's no tribute, no shows are changed, no one really cares but the others they serve with and their families....

I mean i love Whitneys music don't get me wrong she was an amazing artist but its seriously that's all i have heard about ALL day! on TV, the radio, and the internet. And whats even more funny is a lot of these people used to bad mouth her when she was struggling now they want to worship her

Acne myths explained

• Myth:

  Washing your face more often will help clear up acne

  Reality:Facial blemishes are not caused by dirt.¹ Contrary to what you may have seen in commercials, pores do not get blocked from the top down due to "impurities". Rather, the walls of a pore stick together deep within the skin, starting acne formation. Far from preventing acne, frequent washing may actually irritate pores and cause them to become clogged. A washcloth can add even more irritation. The best bet is to wash very gently with bare hands, and only wash twice a day.²
• Myth:

  Stress causes acne

  Reality:Stress may have an effect on hormones and theoretically can promote acne. However, an effective acne system is more powerful than a bout of stress any day. Some psychiatric medications may have acne as a side effect, but stress itself is no big deal.³ Your time is better spent determining the right course of acne treatment rather than feeling guilt about stress.^1,4
• Myth:

  Masturbation or sex causes acne

  Reality:This antiquated notion, originating as early as the 17th century to dissuade young people from having premarital sex, is not based on scientific evidence. A more plausible explanation may be that higher levels of androgens (male sex hormones) can cause increased sex drive. We also know that high levels of androgens can be related to more severe cases of acne. So it may be the higher androgen levels and not the associated increase in desire for sexual activity that is related to acne.
• Myth:

  The sun will help get rid of acne

  Reality:10-20 minutes per day for sun exposure for people with lighter skin and 20-30 minutes per day for people with darker skin may prove beneficial for acne symptoms, especially body acne. However, overly exposing your skin to the sun creates skin damage, which leaves the skin irritated. This irritation can result in more acne in the weeks following over exposure as the skin heals itself. If you notice a break out "out of the blue," ask yourself if you got sunburnt about two weeks ago. That may be the cause.^1-2,5
• Myth:

  Diet and acne are related

  Reality:The bottom line is we need more research. We do know that people in some indigenous societies do not experience acne whatsoever across the entire population. This is in stark contrast to the widespread presence of acne throughout all modern society. It leaves us to ponder whether the indigenous people's unprocessed hunter/gatherer diet contributes to their acne-free skin or whether their clear skin is a result of genetics or some other factor. Discovering a dietary way of preventing acne may be a future reality, however, we may live so differently from our hunter/gatherer ancestors that it has become close to impossible to replicate our ancestral diet.^1-2,6-8 But, let's see if we can work together to come to some concensus from our own experiences. My girl Lisa just came to visit this girl and I have been through so much together and i haven't seen her in sooooooooooooooooooo long! we talked, ate, laughed and watch videos and movies.  Love ya Lisa

Black Widow!

Thought i would rearrange my room today and put one of the tables my husband had in his garage as my side table.   So i moved everything around and was super excited to get it situated, then while we were about to carry this table upstairs i looked under it and there was 2 GIGANTIC black widows and a ton of little nest!! eeeekkkk thank God i looked under it! those sucker would of been in my room! this could of been FATAL!

Now don't get me wrong im glad that you're confident enough to go out and show off what you have but there's ways of looking cute with out the "over" exposure.

So you've gained weight that's okay DON'T BE ASHAMED TO GO UP A SIZE! trust me it'll look better and you'll feel WAY more comfortable i GUARANTEE IT!

New skin care product

today i will hopefully start my new skin care routine! my skin was clear then i transfered jobs and i guess from the stress i broke out MAJORLY! so now i'm going to try an all natural products called Happy me skin care
