I just recieved my first issue of Fitnes Magazine and there was an article on there about box wine... I love wine so I decied to try one of them because they were highly rated.  I tried the Black Box Wine

let me just say this wine tasted and smelled like pee!!! It was DISGUSTING!!!!!

Looking for Workouts?

While on Pintrest I came across this post that was in regards to a workout website.  The website is http://www.divine.ca/en/

It is one of Canada's online women's magazine and I must say that this website is AMAZING! it has everything you need! BUT my favorite part about the website is... when you click on the health tab then go to the exercise finder it shows a picture of a woman and all you have to do is click on the part of the body you want to work on and it will give you multiple exercises to work on that area!

Highly recommend everyone checking this website out!

Sunset Nails!

I saw this demo on YT posted by cutepolish it was on how to create sunset nails

looks pretty cool huh?  I did this on my toes but with no dolphin and now when i look at my toes it reminds me of a fungus lol maybe i do need a dolphin ... or just a little more practice! love the way they look in the picture though!

LOVE that my scars are fading! Can't wait until the scars are completely gone! Since I've been on these new meds I have not had a single breakout totally loving these meds! OH almost forgot i've changed my face wash as well im using Boots Expert sensitive face wash, toner, and lotion... I love this stuff!



Back to the Nimitz I go!

A couple weeks ago I found out that i'm going back to the USS Nimitz come Aug! For those that don't know i was stationed on the Nimitz from '04-'06 with the hubster by my side as an Undesignated Seaman meaning I had no job title and no rank...

We got to experience out first deployment together in '05 since then i've been to sent to school in both Chicago for Naval Hospital Corps School

and Pensacola for Aviation Medicine School,

 worked at the hospital in Dermatology,

Stationed on the USS Peleliu (LHA5)...did a deployment with them in '10

...its funny how things have come a full circle bringing me back to where I first started the good ol' USS Nimitz (CVN68) only difference now is Quincy can't deploy with me and im going back as a HM2(SW/AW)...

 I was a little hesitant at first just becuase it in Washington and I didn't want to leave San Diego but now as the days get closer i'm getting a little more excited!  This is after all why I joined the Navy to travel and see the world....  Time for new adventures with the hubster! :)

Skin Update!

Alright so most of you know that I have been struggling with finding the right face wash and medication for my skin...

I HAVE TREID EVERYTHING!

for those that have followed along have seen everything i've tried ...finally i went to my dermatologist he have me so much stuff

worked for a little while then the acne came back, my faced burned, it was peeling like crazy, and  my stomach was so upset i was nauseous all day! So naturally I went back...he then gave me

Benzoyl Peroxide
Retina
Clindamycin

this stuff so far has been AMAZING! no upset stomaches, rashes or irritaions on my face, or any type of crazy side effects...and my skin looks soooooooo much better!

I will provide pictures soon...just want to make sure this stuff is legit before I do

For those that read my last blog, here's and update...

Still no word from my so called "BFF" haven't seen her or talked to her.  I guess her boyfriend comes first... For her sake I hope they last

Am I Wrong?

Okay so let me tell you the story and I want you to tell me if im wrong...

Me and Ericka have been friends for a really long time then she got stationed on the nimitz and they relocated to washington...so i haven't seen her in 3 YEARS! so when I found out that she was going to be here for a few days I was so excited to hang out with her again and just reconnect.  So here we go

Day 1: Thursday. Went to pick her up at the ship...waited for 2 HOURS after the time she said she was gonna be ready and it turns out that her boyfriend Josh didn't want her to leave so she sat with him on the ship for a while even though she knew i was waiting and had been for a while. Got over, hung out for a while then had to take her back to the ship by 11pm.

Day 2: Wednesday. Called me at 5pm to go get her so that we could go shopping go there and she was with Josh (first time meeting him)...he was supposed to go with his friends so that we could shop but instead decided he wanted to come with us, okay cool.  Get to Las Americas and after 3 stores he's ready to go. so we do.  Invited them to the padres game and his response was no we're not going i don't do baseball... whatever. We get in the car and she asked him what he wants to eat:
Ericka: do you want to sit down or grab something quick
Josh: no, don't want to sit just want to grab something
Me: well quincy is cooking right now, we can grab something then go to my house and eat
Ericka: YEA! do you want to eat at Misty's?
Josh: well i kinda wanted to sit down and eat...
Ericka: so what do you want to do? go back to the ship?
Josh: Yea
Me: so im taking you back
Ericka: yes
take them back at 8pm

at this point i already don't like him....

Day 3: Saturday i invite her over to watch the fight...she says "Well Josh isn't talking to me so if he still isn't talking to me later then yes"...at this same time she's waiting for a friend and is about to go downtown with him (not Josh) okay cool...time come for the fight she says well i don't want you to have to come get me so im just gonna hang out with Perry...

Day 4: Sunday day of Game.  If you remember she told me she wasn't gonna go to the game because Josh didn't want to go right? well day of game call her up and she's out downtown with some other friends (again not Josh) so at this point im thinking maybe its just me that she won't ditch josh for (getting a little butt hurt) either way I invite her and her friends over to the house for BBQ and she says cool then i don't hear or see her for that day.

Day 5: Monday. shes on duty
Day 6: Tuesday.  no call or text
Day 7: Today. She was supposed to go with me to Butts and Guts and spin...knew about it for a week now...and i get a voicemail saying "hey im with Malisa, don't know where we're going and don't know what time we're getting back so i'll text you later...hmmm

Am I wrong for feeling a little betrayed and asking her:  why is it that you will ditch Josh to hang out with everyone else but when I ask to hang out i get "if josh is still not talking me then yes"?

Crazy Captain!

caught of glimpse of this story on the TV about a pilot who had an "episode" on the plane and had to do an emergency landing.  Obviously I wanted to know more so I googled it!
 Here's the story:

Apparently a pilot onboard a jetblue flight was acting erraticly so his co-pilot kicked him out of the cockpit and locked the door.  The pilot then proceeded to run up and down the isle yelling "say your prayers" and had to be tackled by 4 memebers onboard and retrained until they did an emergency landing.  That's kinda the jist of it.  clickon one of the links below for the full story

SCAVENGERS!!

This weekend the hubster and I were entertaining a couple of our cousins and two of thier kids and they ran sack our house!!!

Friday, Sat, and Sunday consisted of beer/wine pong (which i won first time ever playing) and lots of drunkeness!

Come time to go to work Monday morning...I woke up to my living room being flipped upside down,  my kitchen...well lets just say i couldn't see a single piece of counter space or table space for that fact, My wine is completly gone (by gone i mean my wine/liquor cabinet is empty! WAH!!!), and my fridge was cleaned out! Then, as im walking outstide I open the door and see his cousin asleep on a chair in the garage

You think that would be all they could possibly do to the house right??? NO!... they decided they wanted to camp out!... in my garage! They had tents up, forts built, and all my snacks were gone...AUGH!!! oh well...all in all it was a good time...

i can't stand her she is such a spoiled, conniving, manipulative, bully of person i really really really want her to get kicked off the show..she makes me not want to watch it this season.  There's no motivation, no inspiration, no unity at all not a big fan of it this season.  such a disappointment. Wah wah wah

skin update!

This medicine is amazing!!!  i've been on if for 1wk and my skin has completely cleared up well with the exception of 1 or 2 pimples but clear for the most part.  Lots of flaking and peeling but i can handle that :) pictures will be posted at the end of this journey!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Today i would like to wish my grandmother a very happy birthday! she is one person in my life that has always been there and has never let me down.  When i was sad, scared, or worried and everyone would laugh or tell me to get over it she was there to comfort me, pray for me, pray with me and tell me that God would take care of everything.  Through late nights, early mornings, unscheduled practices, car trouble, money trouble, whatever it was she has always been there for me without hesitation.  I love you grandma and pray that you have many more with us beacuse my life without you would fall apart.  Te Amo Bastante!

The Grammys..epic fail!

so yesterday i went through my DVR and recorded everything that said "Grammys" well at least i thought i did.....came home this morning excited to watch it and nope it wasn't recorded wah wah wah! gues i have to catch it on a re run...super bummed!

The Forgotten

Its funny how when an entertainer dies thats all the world can talk about. Even shows are changed to pay tribute. But when a member of the armed forces dies we don't hear about it, there's no tribute, no shows are changed, no one really cares but the others they serve with and their families....

I mean i love Whitneys music don't get me wrong she was an amazing artist but its seriously that's all i have heard about ALL day! on TV, the radio, and the internet. And whats even more funny is a lot of these people used to bad mouth her when she was struggling now they want to worship her

  Stress causes acne

  Reality:Stress may have an effect on hormones and theoretically can promote acne. However, an effective acne system is more powerful than a bout of stress any day.   Diet and acne are related

Black Widow!

Thought i would rearrange my room today and put one of the tables my husband had in his garage as my side table.   So i moved everything around and was super excited to get it situated, then while we were about to carry this table upstairs i looked under it and there was 2 GIGANTIC black widows and a ton of little nest!! eeeekkkk thank God i looked under it! those sucker would of been in my room! this could of been FATAL!

So you've gained weight that's okay DON'T BE ASHAMED TO GO UP A SIZE! trust me it'll look better and you'll feel WAY more comfortable i GUARANTEE IT!
